OUR STORY
4th Generation Family-Owned Business
We've been farming coffee for over 55 years, with roots that go back to our great-grandmother's small farm called Santa Damiana. Located in the hills of the Santa Ana volcano in the golden coffee belt of El Salvador, it was a beautiful and productive farm. Eventually, our grandparents took over and bought a new farm closer to the city of San Salvador, which they turned into a highly productive coffee farm with over 150 acres of coffee plants. For over 35 years, it was well-known among local coffee farmers for producing some great quality coffee.
Ten years ago, we added a second farm dedicated to strict-height sustainable coffee, with over 150 acres of coffee and 70 acres of tropical forest. Located in the Cordillera del Bálsamo, it benefits from the region's microclimate and environmental attributes. We are committed to sustainability and passionate about creating excellent coffee that is good for the environment and for our customers. It's a special place, and we're proud to be a part of the coffee-farming tradition that has been passed down through our family for generations.
WE STAND FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
Sustainability and excellence are important to us.
We believe in the power of social entrepreneurship. We want to use our farm as a force for good, not just to produce the best coffee in the world, but also to make a positive impact on the community and the environment.
That means preserving and regenerating the forest, caring for the aquifers, and supporting the local community through fair wages, good working conditions, and opportunities for growth and development.
